Report Card Day

Play Date at School

 It's end of the School year and report card and Award Day. I was little restless, kind of mine report card day. Well why not, I guess it's also mummy report card day too. I was nervous that what will happen if she has not done good as I know, I didn't gave her enough time in studies because of my work. I am happy that she did Good which she could have done better. She got A+ and A- and B+ in her report card. She has to improve in her Art and Maths. and with her self confidence. I hope I will look after that in vacation time.

Ananyaa got Musician of the Month award (which I really wonder how) and Leader in Reading Award. Looking forward to have lots of Fun in vacation time. I am sure she will be happy for not following any schedule at home from next week, specially waking up early in the morning. Now there will be no 1 min, 2min, 5 min thing :)

Today morning, when I was dropping Ananyaa at School Bus, Aaryana was with us. I am happy to click their pictures walking together. I wish you both stay same forever your life time. Walk together throughout your Life. Love you to Both.

Spring Concert at School - Rockin Robin

Rockin Robin is Famous Old Song. It is also one of Hit song of Micheal Jackson....Ananyaa's Class Dance Performance on Spring Concert at School. They did Dance today for 3 times, morning, afternoon and evening assembley. She called me in evening at work and told me she did enjoyed dancing and it was amazing. I think they really did good job. Here is video to watch how they were all dancing wearing green and blue T-shirt as dress code. I amde it to school in morning.

Field Trip to Visual Arts and Craft Harbourfront Centre School for Puppet Making and Clay Mask making for Grade 1

On Friday there was field trip to Visual Arts and Craft School at Toronto Downtown. I did Volunteers to her class teacher to manage student and help them out. It was supper fun and I enjoyed it lot. So we started out trip in bus from school to Downtown which was 1 and half hour journey as we stucked in traffic. When we reached there staff welcome all students and took them to big hall of their school. They divided student to 2 parts as there was total 4 class of Grade 1. I was having six kids in my team for whom I was responsible for everything during trip. firstly we started with puppet Show, which kids really enjoyed. Then teachers over their explain kids regarding different kinds of puppet and from different places. How they portray and people use them in stage show etc. etc. After all that they showed kids how to make one. It was simple and easy and kids attempt to make one for their own. Spend around and hour for making puppet and decorating them. I got some pictures, but I am sad that I couden't click for final pic when everything all done, as I was all busy helping 6 kids in my team and then it was too much rush also as we were having very little time. Kids took lunch out in garden as it was full sunny day. they were happy to see CN tower. it was beautiful view from their Garden.

Girls and Boys are on job to Clay Mask making...It was fun...again missed to take pic for clay mask, when it was all done...:(

After Lunch, they took kids to Clay Mask making, where teacher explain them, Why we use mask and what kind of mask we found these days, and how they are made from different material. With mask we can scare people and that we use it on Halloween, we can make people laugh. Through mask we can express our emotions, happy sad, wired, surprise, cry etc. then he showed them how to make mask from Clay. After that kids tried to make their own mask. All kids were very enthusiastic to make their own. You can see glimpse of them in above pic. Again I was very busy that I couldn't took final pic when every thing was done. as it was rush to come back to school and buses were already arrived to pick up all of us. They gave all student mask in shoe box, which they carry with them. Mask and Puppet are all drying in classroom right now, hopefully they will send to home by next week. Will upload pic after that...

All in all I spent my all day last Friday with kids. It was supper busy and fun day. Six kids in my team were good to me. They listen my instruction when I was giving one and ask me when they had any question. I enjoyed help them making puppet and clay mask.

Flag Of India - Made by Ananyaa

Yes, she made it, with Little guidance of her Rubeckaa Aunty as Mommy was not at Home. I am so Proud of you Bebo...I explain her importance of each colour in Flag. Saffron (orange) as symbole of Courage, Sacrifice. White, Symbol of Honesty and Purity and Green for Peace and Prosperity. And Ashok Chakra (Blue wheel as per her) symbol of Truth (Dharma). I am glad she listens me, when I was explaining, and I hope she understood too.

Educational Week at School

This week is also called as Educational Week. which almost all schools in GTA area celebrating by decorating their class with craft work of student. Basically they want students to learn about Respect and Kind and Polite and help others Love, Sharing and no bulling at school or anywhere else. I missed to visit for open house on Wednesday but Ananyaa went with her Daddy. He knows that I would love to see pics and he message me some pics from event.

Day of Pink

Today GTA students celebrates International Day of Pink - Anti Bullying Day by wearing pink. I remember she is participating in this Day of Pink since Kindergarten 1st year. But I was not sure if she really understands what is Bullying. So this morning when I was making her hair, we were talking about it.

Me - Ananyaa do u know, why you all are wearing pink today at School.

Her- Yes, because it's Bully Day today.

Me- What does that means !!!!

Her - U don't know Mumma...we did this last year too...

Me- No I don't remember !

Her - To rule over someone or to force someone is Bullying. and you are sometime bully to me too... You force me to eat, you force me to sleep, bllaa bllaa bllaa.

Me :- Eyes and mouth, both open wide. I was and I am Shocked and surprise

Also happy to know that she knows what is bullying and she can stand up to stop that, the way she was telling me. 

Went to School to drop her on Monday as she was not well. I was running late on Monday morning. It was Book fair going on in her school for this week, so I though let me drop her at school, so that way I can go with her in Book fair. We picked up 2 good books and then left 1 as she want to buy her own, when she visit with her classmates. It was fun visiting that day. All her friends were on their snacks brake and when they came, I got to see them. All of them were around me as I was holding Aaryu and they all want to play with her. Took above pic from hallway near her class room where they have displayed scrap work of her class. I walked the hallway and get to see other class craft and scrap work too. It's so amazing that this little kids can do such a great work. I missed to take pic as my camera battery died.

Happiness is to Drop Ananyaa for her Friend Ava’s B’day Party and I can see all girls excited to celebrate. They all looks beautiful and full of life. All of them started giggling and giving compliment to each other. Ava say’s Ananyaa you look beautiful and she says her that Ava I like your dress, you looks beautiful too. One of them say’s Ananyaa you looks like your Mom, and they giggles again. It was so much fun to see them having fun together. I took few pics of them, and then left her with her friends.

Happy Holi 2014

Happiness is to play Holi with both my girls, putting just kumkum on each other faces. Glad to know that Ananyaa remember's it from last year too and asking me if I got any other color then just red. Well what to explain her, it was my mistake, her baa got some colors from India last year to play holi, but I don't know where I kept it and was not finding one when it was actually needed. She made a face for not having other color, but then she was ok after I explain her. Aaryana was like want to make mess for kum kum and we saved her doing so. Though daddy didn't participate following baa, we 3 enjoy in our way and then posed for picture too.

Time Flies :(

Today I was going through Ananyaa's baby pics, and that makes me cry, my baby is growing so fast, right in front of my sight. Time is flying or should I say Time is running in super fast mode. Ananyaa started loosing her baby teeth and she already lose 2 of them. She got her 1st adult teeth back as well. and with that her maturity too. I feel sometime that she is loosing her innocence slowly with her age, she is now my more understandable child. If I think of Aaryana, I feel like she was just born yesterday and she is already 1.1/2 year old.

I wish I could stop time and re-joy all their past moment of Babyhood.

I wish I could take time back to play more with Ananyaa and  cuddle Baby Aaryana.

Congrats Ananyaa for being Awarded at School.

   Dear Ananyaa, you have made us Proud, with your sincere efforts at school. Keep up your good work and always make us Proud. Well done and Congratulations for your Award.

      Ananyaa is still at the beginning stages of her life’s journey and there are so many more lessons to be learnt and mountains to climb. Our job as parents is not done over here, way to go for us and for her too. Anything can happen from now. However, I am happy that so far, we have steered her in the right direction. What I am also most proud of her, that she has grown into such a confident, expressive, disciplined (some time) and intelligent child. Hoping for all our kids in Family to go way beyond our Imagination.

To Go or Not To Go for Cricket Night at School !!!

Having a Girl Child, I didn't expect that Ananyaa would be interested to go for cricket night, which is being held by school council. I thought that she is so little to understand that sport, but today morning, she surprise me. She requested me to pay for that which will be $5 per each student. When I say, this sport is more for boys, and there you go, she jumps on conversation, its for Girls too....all my BFF (Best Friend Forever ) BFF can you imagine, she says all my "BFF" is going and I want to go too....some how I agreed to it.

Time is flying and each day she is making me realise that she is growing so fast. She is just 6 but she know our Home Address and Phone #. She remembers Daddy and Mumma cell ph num, when she was in Kindergarten 2. Now she is remembering Phone numbers for her best friend or should I say her BFF :) lolz. Other day I was driving home from other way, and she was giving me direction, where to turn left and right. That makes me amazed, and with that, I am sure that she can give direction to our Home as well.
